Improving the Operation of Pump-ejector Systems at Varying Flow Rates of Associated Petroleum Gas

Application of pump-ejector systems for the utilization of associated petroleum gas reduces the negative environmental impact of its flaring, and also allows the implementation of a promising method of water-gas stimulation of the formation, which effectively increases oil recovery. Equally feasible is the use of pump-ejector systems in the operation of oil wells with a high gas factor, low bottomhole pressures to increase production rates and increase the turnaround period. A significant change in the flow rate of associated petroleum gas over time is a serious problem for the efficient operation of pump-ejector systems for the utilization of associated petroleum gas. To ensure the rational operation of the pump-ejector system under the condition of a variable flow rate of associated petroleum gas, experimental studies of a liquid-gas ejector characteristics were carried out. The article presents the results of the research, obtained pressure-energy characteristics of the investigated jet apparatus at various values of the working stream pressure before the ejector nozzle. The possibility of adapting the operation of pump-ejector systems to changes in the flow rate of the pumped gas, regulated by the working pressure and fluid flow rate through the nozzle is revealed. To successfully change the operation of the pump-ejector system, the possibility of frequency regulation of the pump shaft's rotation at changing gas flow rates in a small range of values is considered. With a large difference in the values of the possible flow rate of associated petroleum gas, it is recommended that frequency regulation should be supplemented by periodic short-term operation. The possibility of increasing the efficiency of the pump-ejector system when using salt solutions with a concentration that contributes to the suppression of bubble coalescence is noted.

Research of heat generation indicators of gas engines

A comprehensive strategy for reviving the production of mining industry equipment and ensuring its competitiveness includes the wide use of gas engines for various purposes. Experimental studies of the working cycle of a gas engine are one of the main tasks in determining the heat generation characteristics. To this end, indicator charts were recorded in various modes, which were subjected to analysis in order to determine the key parameters characterizing intra-cylinder processes. According to the experimental program, the maximum cycle pressure, the rate of pressure build-up, the heat generation characteristic, the first heat generation phase, the duration of the second combustion phase, and the effect of the ignition advance angle for the ignition period were determined. The results of an experimental study of the influence of gas engine working process with allowance for the change in the ignition advance angle for the ignition period are described and the parameters of the maximum cycle pressure, the rate of pressure build-up, and the heat generation characteristics are determined. In the processing of data, integral charts are constructed, the working cycle parameters are calculated, and the dynamics of the engine heat generation is determined.

Opencast mining in the Kuzbass is carried out using gidromehanizatsionnyh technologies that are the most progressive and effective ways to excavate in arrays composed of Neogene-Quaternary deposits. In addition, hydromechanization a single indissoluble chain processes that integrate development, transportation and stacking of disturbed rocks in special facilities – gidrootvaly. Procedure for determination of parameters of a condesing structures with a movable capacitor plates

Procedure for definition of parameters of a condenser structure cap is considered. The procedure allows by means of one operation – volt – capacitance characteristic measuring – to define the whole complex of the major parameters of a cap – size of a working air gap, a membrane deflection, surface electret potential and a membrane tension. The expressions for capacitance of a condenser structure cap as a function of specified parameters are obtained. Analytical expression for capacitance of a cap depending on the specified parameters and measuring of its volt-capacitance characteristic allow to define these parameters by solving corresponding system of equations. The procedure considered in the present work is a not-destroying quality monitoring method.

The ontogenetic analysis of the vein quartz of some deposits of Southern Urals mountains

Comprehensive studying of vein quartz gives valuable information about quartz and quartz bodies formation conditions, which is very important for a forecast substantiation and exploration of new perspective deposits. For the purpose to receive qualitative and quantitative mineralogy-petrographic characteristics of vein quartz of different technological types (deposits of Southern Urals Mountains) four types of quartz grains are dedicated. For acknowledgement of correctness of the differentiation the full stereometric analysis with the help of Mineralogical Analyzer of structure MIU-5M is carried out. Parameters of a structure of mineral aggregate are received. Basis on these data, genetic and necessary for technologists conclusions are represented.
