Abstract

The aim of our expedition was to conduct a comprehensive study of the Vorontsov cave system. The research was conducted by route observations on the surface of the area of work and in the karst cavities. The main direction of the research was to study the chemical composition of waters on their way from the area of feeding to the area of unloading. Hydrochemical studies of the Vorontsovskaya cave system indicate increased concentrations of hydrocarbonate ion and calcium ion, as well as an increase in the content of nitrogen compounds in the studied waters (due to anthropogenic pollution).
