Abstract

A possibility to improve technological characteristics of milled peat excavation is offered on the basis of experimental research by means of production cycle reduction owing to minimizing milled peat layers and peat drying in thin layers. The mechanism of moisture transfers in layers and its influence on the process of air drying is considered. Thanks to this improvement, the number of cycles in significantly increased, dry weather periods are used better. As the result, the main technological index of milled peat production — season crop - in increased.
