Abstract

Deposition of inorganic salts in the reservoir, downhole pumping equipment, oilfield communications and oil treatment equipment remains one of the important problems of oil production. This phenomenon is associated with changes in the salt composition of produced water in the field as well as changes in the thermal and pressure conditions in the near-wellbore formation zone and process equipment. Ways of quantitative comparison of the protective effect of inhibitors on the deposition of salts are considered.
