Abstract

The problem of global climate warming entered the orbit of world politics in the second half of the last century. Many scientists attribute the increase in CO2 concentration to the increase in commercial production and, first of all, to the increase in the amount of coal and fuel burned. In this paper, an automated database (ADB) "Intelligent system of CO2-monitoring of metallurgical production" is proposed to evaluate and compare the impact of metallurgical technologies on CO2 emissions. The ABD allows to analyze the carbon and blowing CO2 consumption at different enterprises on the basis of data on the consumption of carbon materials and to draw conclusions about the degree of progressiveness of the used metallurgical technologies.
