Abstract

The diamond mining industry occupies an important place in the Russian economy. In this regard, it is of great importance to increase the investment activity of promising foreign projects consisting in the construction and reconstruction of existing diamond mining enterprises. The article analyzes the diamond market, indicates the main prospects and trends of its development, considers the basic methodology for assessing the effectiveness of investment projects, and evaluates the effectiveness of investment projects to increase ore production using economically significant criteria.
