Abstract

With the rapid growth of China's economy, bored piles are widely used in infrastructure construction projects. But how to get the exact surface of the poured concrete is a difficult problem in quality control of bored piles. In practice, the only way to avoid quality problems is to pour a larger volume of concrete, which results in more waste and creates more burden on the environment due to the discarded concrete columns. Therefore, the development of an ultrasonic device to measure the concrete pouring level is highly relevant. Based on the analysis of the negative consequences of pouring too much concrete, the paper presents the design scheme of the device, summarizes the main difficulties and summarizes the results of our group.
