Abstract
The work is devoted to the analytical method of solving the problem of stabilization of quarry productivity. The dependence of the average operating stripping ratio on the duration of the operational period of the open pit activity is established. Practical calculations are presented for one of the diamond kimberlite pipes of the Democratic Republic of Congo and were performed on the basis of AutoCAD 2006 and Microsoft Excel.
