Abstract

Speech acts of request and response of the British, American and Australian linguistic cultures representatives are considered in the article on the basis of politeness strategy in speech communication. In analyzing this problem some similarities and differences were recognized and they should be taken into consideration in business and scientific communication with the representatives of these countries.
