Abstract
The Article considers the aspects concerning the mining of coal strata, prediction of the influence zones parameters of the primary extraction of thick seam “Ulug” on the overlying stratum. With due account of geological conditions of the seams occurrence and strength properties of rocks the recommendations are given on rational methods of the seam “Ulug” mining and on roof control in production faces as well as on support of development workings at the undermined seams.
