Abstract

Questions of construction of an automated system identification and control of cut stones on the basis of hardware and software company National Instruments. Used means of robotics (NI SoftMotion Development Module for LabVIEW), which allow you to implement the positioning system of stones in the control and vision system (NI Vision Assistant). Developed an algorithm, which is not very sensitive to the parameters of digital recording and lighting conditions. The results of studies have shown the ability to create controls to identify diamonds.
