Тип косой слоистости, как критерий генезиса осадков

Аннотация
Наблюдения над формами и характером косой слоистости дали мне повод поставить перед собой вопрос, не могут ли они служить критерием для распознания генезиса этой толщи. Задачей настоящей работы является: 1) возбудить интерес и наметить программу для детальных и тщательных наблюдений над весьма своеобразными явлениями косой слоистости; 2) указать подход к их интерпретации (при настоящем состоянии наших знаний) и 3) прилагая эти общие соображения к наблюдаемым конкретным случаям, поставить вопрос о возможном выяснении генезиса угленосной толщи Подмосковного бассейна и вообще континентальных отложений при посредстве изучения характера напластования.
