Abstract

Forty years ago, in June 1920, V. I. Lenin’s brilliant work “Left‑Wing” Communism: An Infantile Disorder was published. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin modestly called this outstanding theoretical contribution to the treasure trove of Marxism‑Leninism “an attempt at a popular outline of Marxist strategy and tactics”. In reality, however, Lenin’s words about the “Manifesto of the Communist Party” by K. Marx and F. Engels can rightfully be applied to it: “This little book is worth whole volumes.”
