Abstract

The conquest of economic independence is the main task of the peoples who have thrown off the chains of colonialism. It is impossible to achieve true national independence without a decisive struggle against imperialism, which “... remains the main enemy and the main obstacle to the solution of the national tasks facing the young sovereign states and all dependent countries.” The decisive uprooting of the economic roots of imperialist domination is of paramount importance for the liberated countries. Therefore, the question of nationalization of foreign monopolies is particularly acute for these countries . This article deals with the nationalization of foreign capital in the underdeveloped countries of Southeast Asia.
