Voltage regulation by series capacitors and self-excitation of induction motors in mine networks
Abstract
Issues of automatic voltage regulation in local electrical networks are an important part of the overall problem of complex mechanization and automation of production processes in the mining industry. A stable voltage level is necessary for the stable operation of automatic devices, more complete utilization of the natural mechanical properties of electric drives, and reduction of electric energy losses in local distribution networks.
