Protective shield performance under impact loading conditions during free roof collapse
Abstract
The chamber-shield system with the use of mobile shields was proposed for the extraction of thick gentle seams. Production tests of such a system (1959) with the LG NK-1 shield confirmed the high efficiency and reliability of the mobile support of the protective type.
