Abstract

This paper proposes a method for calculating the expected classification results using the example of classification of quartz suspension in a hydrocyclone. The classification results are evaluated by the recovery of narrow size fractions in the classification products. For this purpose, feed, overflow and underflow are subjected to size analyses, on the basis of which the recoveries of narrow fractions are calculated.
