Abstract

Due to the success of vacuum metallurgy in the post-war years, the assessment of the applicability of this method to non-ferrous metal sulfides is of undoubted interest. The kinetics of lead and zinc sulfide distillation in vacuum at (10-2) - (10-3) mmHg were studied at the facility and according to the procedure described earlier [4]. Experiments have shown that lead and zinc sulfides are distilled at constant speeds under isothermal conditions...
