Abstract

Improvement of drilling operations and reduction of their costs is one of the urgent tasks of the Estonian oil shale deposit. The volume of overburden limestone drilling for the quarries of the Estonian Oil Shale Trust amounted to 501 600 m of 115 mm diameter blast holes in 1964.
