Abstract

Plate conveyors in recent years are increasingly common at industrial enterprises in the USSR and abroad (FRG, Belgium, England, etc.). For example, in the mines of the Ruhr Basin they make up more than a third of the total number of underground conveyors (excluding face conveyors). In a number of cases, plate conveyors are the only acceptable means of continuous transportation of goods.
