The degree of participation of helitolites in the structure of coal seams increases from the Lower Carboniferous to the Neogene. While in the Lower Carboniferous seams they compose thin beds, in the Middle Carboniferous they acquire layer-forming significance, composing beds of small and medium thickness. ...
