Abstract

The artesian basins of the intermountain plains of the western Tell-Atlas (North-Tlemsen, Bel-Abbes, Telaga and Maskara) are located in the northwestern part of Algeria and are characterized by relatively favorable orohydrographic and climatic parameters and hydrogeological conditions.
