Abstract

Geographical and geological sketch of Northern Algeria. The Algerian folded region is bounded on the south by the Saharan Atlas and on the north by the coastal flexure; four zones are distinguished here: the Kabylian, Tall Aglas, High Plateau and Saharan Atlas.
