Engineering-geological aspects of development of iron ore deposits in the area of BAM route

Abstract
In the BAM area there are Desovskoye, Tarynnakhskoye, Tayozhnoye, Sivaglinskoye, Pionerskoye, Komsomolskoye iron ore deposits and several smaller ones. All iron ore deposits are located in the vast territory of the highlands, which is a transition zone from the Siberian platform to folded regions (the so-called rift structures).
