Direct frequency converter with capacitive energy storages
Authors:
Abstract
Existing direct frequency converters (DFC) and frequency converters with a constant current link (FC with DCT) have a number of disadvantages (for DFC - low cosφ, dependent on the power factor of the load, the need to use equalizing chokes or elements to form pauses in the output voltage at joint or separate control, pulsations of the output current form; for FC with DCT - unreliability of two-operation thyristors, complexity of switching thyristors, low efficiency, etc.).
