On the possibility of separation of monochromatic seismic waves excited by anthropogenic sources of elastic vibrations

Abstract

Recently, anthropogenic sources of elastic vibrations have been of great interest in seismic exploration and seismology. Fluctuations arising from the rotation of a hydroelectric turbine are proposed to be used for Earth imaging, for observations of environmental changes associated with geodynamic processes, for studying dam vibrations.
