Conducted analysis of production and economic activities of pecks mining and processing complex association “Phosphorite” allowed to reveal the main reasons that reduce the efficiency of production, and outline ways to improve it. The material for the analysis were the reporting data for 1965-1976 and prospective indicators for 1976-1980.
The Directives of the 24th Congress of the CPSU on the five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR for 1971–1975 set the task for industry of increasing production efficiency, reducing production costs, and ensuring the profitable operation of all enterprises.
