Optimization of the thermovacuum moisture meter parameters

Article preview

When measuring moisture content by the thermovacuum method, the temperature change of the sample is determined in the process of moisture desorption in vacuum. In the case of low humidity less than 2-3 %, the dependence of the maximum value of the sample temperature change is expressed by the regression equation.

Resolution ability of automated thermovacuum moisture meters

Article preview

Thermovacuum method of moisture measurement is based on the temperature change of a thin layer of sample in the process of moisture cesorption in vacuum. A sample of finely dispersed material is poured in a thin layer into a cuvette, the bottom of which serves as a flat thermosensitive element (TSE) ...

Primary converters of thermovacuum moisture meters

Article preview

The thermovacuum moisture meters are based on the following phenomenon: if a thin layer of the tested material is placed in a vacuum chamber and air is pumped out of it, the temperature of the material will start to decrease. Simultaneously, convective heat flow from the walls of the chamber and the surface of the material ...
