Dynamics of the feed drive of a roller cone drilling machine

The drill feed drive consists of an electric motor, a variable displacement pump, a hydraulic line including a safety valve and a throttle regulator, a hydraulic motor and a mechanical transmission from the hydraulic motor to the drilling tool, which is also acted upon by the rotator drive.
