Advantages of drilling out cylindrical stone products at quarries and methods of their separation from the rock massif

Article preview

Manufacturing of large-sized cylindrical blanks from stone slabs with the use of drilling equipment and tools is currently used in the production of a number of technical products. Further improvement of technical and technical means of drilling is the need to use them directly at stone quarries with the possibility of separation from the rock massif, extraction from the borehole, stacking and transportation on specially equipped vehicles.

Iron ore deposits of the Kola Peninsula as self-organizing systems

Article preview

The Archean iron ore formations are considered, which possess large-scale self-similarity, a combination of chaotic and orderliness at different scale levels, coherence of features of formally different nature, fractality, i.e. features characteristic of deterministic-chaotic systems. The application of special methods of the theory of dynamical systems allowed us to obtain a quantitative measure of the complexity of the dynamics of ore genesis.
