The structure of chromite ores of Vershinsky deposit on the Alapaihi River was studied. The geological and geographical structure of the deposit is considered and the main regularities in the structure of individual ore bodies are revealed. The primary structure of ores is determined. The wide development of deuteric alteration in chromospinelides is shown and its characterization is given. It is established that in the process of metamorphism chromspinelides decompose into high-chromium chromospinelides and chlorites. Significant heterogeneity of chromium ores within the deposit was revealed.
