Energy saving compensated asynchronous motors and electric drives on their basis

Article preview

The conventional induction motors have electrical efficiency η.=0.85÷0.94, cosφ=0.7÷0.85 and energy efficiency η en =η n cosφ n =0.6÷0.8. The proposed energy compensated induction motors are characterized by higher energy efficiency η n =0.85÷0.94, cosφ n =1.0, η en =η n cosφ n =0.85÷0.94.
