The paper is devoted to the experimental study of jaw crusher characteristics under condition that nonidentity of subsystems electro-mechanical parameters causes the distortion of the nominal mode of the jaw crusher operation. Experimental data obtained have confirmed basic statements of a self-synchronization theory. The initial phase shift of jaws oscillations is shown to result in a substantial decrease in the crusher productivity and a significant increase in the specific power consumption.
The paper presents a computer model of an electro – mechanical system of the vibration jaw crusher. Taking into account an impact of electrical drive characteristic on the crusher operation modes which correlate with reported experimental data. The results of computer experiments have revealed frequency of the vibration jaw crusher mode.
The paper studies drives of vibration machines and offers an algorithm of automated control over angular positions of the vibration generator balance weights. Results of computer simulation of controlled drive of the vibration machine are given.
This paper estimates the quality parameters of electrical energy in the electrical network of the St. Petersburg State Mining Institute. Experimental studies and computer modeling allowed to establish the influence of non-sinusoidal currents of PC power units on the degree of voltage distortion and overestimation of neutral current.
