The information on development of the unit for mine water-removal plant automatic control on the base of a programmable logical controller is given.

Taking into consideration technological features of the main mining water-removal plants, there are suggested: an energy saving method of their control and an extremal searching system using single-stage booster pumps with a variable-frequency induction motor drive.
