Possibility of using spline surfaces for surface plotting by results of surveying

Article preview

Different methods of surface plotting expound in this article. Possibility of using spline surfaces for surface plotting by results of laser scanning and stadia surveying is studying. That end for defined number of points by MathCad software the curvilinear function that described two-dimensional spline surfaces was  calculated.

Efficient application of laser scanning system

Article preview

Conclusions about an opportunity of laser scanner survey optimization at the expense of scanstations number determination and time spending forecasts  are  explicated in the article. Also there are some conclusions about survey optimization at the expense of scanning density rate for the reason of information about form, parameters of objects and the accuracy of survey.

The method of planning of stockpiles laser scanner mine surveying

Article preview

During the laser scanner surveying necessity of scan position number minimization arises to get complete information about an object. In this article the method is represented, that makes allowance of surveying object configuration, it dimensional characters, technical and metrological characteristics of a laser scanner. This method allows making decision about scan positions arrangement, number of scan positions and time of measurement.
