Means of measuring of specific resistivity of ground with assistance of rods of dinamic or static set for ground testing

One can take rod of set for ground testing as one of electrodes in four-point set for measuring of specific resistivity of soil. With help of current and voltage measuring on electrodes of this set, we can obtain value of specific resistivity of soil with accordance of depth.

Inspection of oil and gas wells casing by the method of electromagnetic flaw detection

Logging tools for electromagnetic flaw detection, developed in VNIIGIS, provide inspecting well conditions with and without (EMDS-TM-42 tools) lifting of compressor tubing. In case of inspecting with lifting of tubing (EMDS-S tool) we can observe holes, made by drilling perforation tool. Examples of logging investigations in Russia, Oman and China are presented.
