The staff of the Journal of Mining Institute congratulates you on the coming year of 2022!
We thank you for your cooperation in 2021 and would like to tell you what has changed in the journal over the past year. We have:
- Secured Q2 in Scopus and are ready to move higher, as well as received Q4 in Web of Science according to the new journal ranking
- Expanded the team of reviewers - new Russian and foreign specialists have joined our journal (and we continue to look for experts)
- Set up citation alerts for your articles - share your publications with colleagues (distribution of publications), to receive such letters more often!
- Developed the feedback form to better work with you
- Created new stylish covers with exhibits from our Mining Museum
- Restored a complete archive of publications since 1907 in the public domain, there is almost no such thing in virtually any magazine
- Updated and expanded the Author’s Guide.
Next year we are planning to:
- Expand the topics of published articles
- Change the order of checking the list of citations (the list of literature does say a lot about the research)
- Generate issues of the journal when the articles are ready (Online First)
- Prepare two special issues (more details later)
- Prepare tutorials, and hold several educational webinars for our authors and reviewers to help them understand the publication process and how to promote their articles
- Upgrade our internal e-editorial platform and make it even more convenient for everyone.
