Abstract
Measurements of the spatial variations of thermal and fast neutrons near the Earth's surface have shown that thermal and fast neutron fluxes directly correlate with the specific radioactivity of 226Ra, 232Th and radon content in rocks, with the thermal neutron flux directly correlating with the rock humidity and the fast neutron flux inversely.
