Abstract

The article is devoted to the necessity of expansion of non-blasting methods’ utilization for breaking the kimberlitic oversize in underground conditions of De Beers’ mines. The advantages of hydraulic hammers as executive device of mobile rock breaker are shown. The optimal ratio between weights of hammer piston and operating tool is chosen and substantiated.
