Abstract

The paper presents a description of content and structure of the associative-verbal field «rest», representing a significant fragment of the world picture reflected in the Russian lan-guage. The content of the associative-verbal field «rest» is also analyzed on the basis of the «Russian associative dictionary» (Тhe editorship of U.N.Karaulov. Moscow, 2002) and on the basis of the free associative experiment, which was held in 2011-2012. According to the findings offers a segmentation of the associative-verbal field «rest» using differentiation on the basis of spatiotemporal features.
