Abstract
The article describes the different approaches to the definition of ecological rent, based on the concept of sustainable development, a conclusion about the possibility of determining a concept of opportunity cost. There is evidence of the relationship and is the ranking of concepts such as economic, environmental, land, mining, and environmental rents. In conclusion formulated proposals to use the tools of the tax system to the fullest the natural rent.
