On the influence of the output work on the secondary electron emission of metals
Abstract
As is known, secondary electron emission is characterized by: 1) the secondary electron emission coefficient; 2) the energy distribution of secondary electrons. The energy spectrum of secondary electrons mainly consists of two parts: slow secondary electrons with energies 0-50 eV; inelastically and elastically scattered primary electrons.
