Founder of the Russian surveying school V. I. Bauman (on the 100th anniversary of his birth)

Abstract

In 1967 was the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Vladimir I. Bauman, an outstanding representative of mining science, public figure and the largest Soviet mining surveyor. In February 1968, a jubilee meeting was held at the Leningrad Mining Institute dedicated to this date, with the participation of surveyors, miners, geologists and geophysicists.
