Tensile forces at wedge penetration into a borehole
Abstract
The problem of wedge penetration into a deformable obstacle has been solved by many researchers in relation to the work of drilling machines, string plants, mining combines and other similar equipment, i.e. for conditions when the wedge at its tip experiences more resistance when penetrating into the rock to be destroyed.
