Abstract

When studying the tectonic fracturing of Ordovician rocks within the Baltic shale basin (M.A.Gatalsky, 1954; M.S.Gazizov, 1965; Y.N.Dupak, 1977, etc.), a series of subvertical secant fractures of northeastern and northwestern strike, as well as fractures along the bedding planes of rocks were identified.
