Geological process as a system: formation of an oil and gas bearing basin
Abstract
On the example of the development of the most typical oil-and-gas bearing sedimentary basins the geological process as a peculiar system with such important characteristics as structure, stability and variability is considered. The regularities of uneven rate and mosaic character of evolution of sedimentary basins are determined.
