Improvement of the mechanism of management of the mineral and raw materials complex on the basis of the system of mineral cadastres

Article preview

Mineral and raw materials complex (MRC), which unites the industries engaged in prospecting, exploration, mining, processing of minerals and utilization of secondary resources, largely determines the successful development of the economy and scientific and technological progress of our country. About 40% of capital investments are spent on the development of the mineral resource base, and more than 18% of industrial labor resources are employed in the mining industries.

Geological and economic evaluation of tin ore deposits during prospecting and appraisal works

Article preview

For a systematic and rational study of the mineral resource base of the country, geological exploration is carried out in successive stages. In this sequence, an important place belongs to prospecting and evaluation works, in the process of which the fields are sorted out and the objects for preliminary exploration are determined ...

Determination of national economic efficiency of geological exploration works

Article preview

In recent years, an exceptional amount of attention is paid to the problems of economic justification of the efficiency of exploration work. Nevertheless, there is still no generally accepted methodology for determining the economic efficiency of exploration work.

Evaluation of mineral deposits at the stage of prospecting and exploration works

Article preview

The economic evaluation of mineral deposits should be based on the cost assessment of proven reserves of mineral raw materials to justify the acceptable level of socially necessary costs for its exploration, production and processing. Such an assessment is also necessary to ensure the most complete and rational use of subsoil. ...

Variability of metal content and rational density of the exploration network at one of the gold deposits of the Yakut ASSR

Article preview

Within the ore field of the studied gold deposit sandy-shale deposits of the Lower Permian with thickness up to 2000 m are spread. The deposit is located in the near-axial part of a brachyanticlinal fold of meridional strike. The meridional and north-eastern and south-western breakers of the chipping type are widely developed.

On rational exploration of tin ore deposits

Article preview

Economic efficiency of exploration of any deposit depends on the correct choice of technical means and rational placement of the necessary number of exploration intersections. The latter is determined, as a rule, by the degree of variability of the main parameters of the field ...

Concentration patterns of industrial reserves in tin-ore districts, deposits and ore bodies

Article preview

The conditions of prospecting and exploration of deposits, as rightly noted by V. I. Smirnov, are becoming more and more complicated every year, as most of the work is carried out in hard-to-reach areas and in an increasingly complex geological environment. In modern conditions, when the economic factor in the exploration of mineral deposits is given decisive importance, the problem of identifying such deposits and ore bodies, which contain the main industrial reserves of this type of mineral raw materials comes first...
