Regularities of changes in the chemical composition of groundwater in the areas of influence of potash production enterprises (on the example of Solikamsk mining-industrial district)

Article preview

At present, in the special hydrogeological literature much attention is paid to the problem of studying the impact of technogenesis on the quality of groundwater. In the development of these studies, the article gives a consistent analysis of the conditions of formation of hydrogeochemical zonality in the groundwater flow within the halo distribution of technogenic solutions of potash production.

К оценке гидрогеохимических процессов при фильтрации техногенных рассолов калийных комбинатов

Article preview

Шламохранилища калийных комбинатов заполняются отходами производства, представляющими собой крепкие рассолы хлоридного состава, утечки которых способствуют засолению водоносных горизонтов, а зачастую и поверхностных водоемов ...

The role of redox processes in the self-purification of groundwater in the Starooskol iron ore district of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly

Article preview

Before the beginning of exploitation of mineral deposits in aquifers there is a dynamic physical and chemical equilibrium between the individual elements of the multi-component system underground water - rocks, which is determined by the balance of water masses formed in time ...
