The article addresses the issue of formation and distribution of dust and gas cloud during the production of mass explosions. The results of studies of the process of formation of dust fractions at the quarry of PG Phosphorit LLC are presented. The research was conducted on the basis of modern physical models corresponding to the mechanism of dust formation during explosive rock blasting by the method of borehole charges at open pits. The article contains an assessment of dust pollution of the environment during the production of blasting operations, methodology for calculating the amount and mass of dust fractions.
The analysis of scientific and technical reports and literature on assessing the impact of dust and gas clouds on the environment during blasting is carried out. The mechanism of dust formation during blasting is considered, the factors that lead to the formation of a dust and gas cloud are listed.
