The Article contains the results of researches of dynamics in changes of physical and mechanical properties of enclosing sedimentary rocks and hard coals of the Kuzbass and Vorkutsk deposits. The general condition of change in permeability factor on gas was obtained, depending on forms and types of moisture bonds in rocks and intensity of stress state. In the research tasks necessary for solving the problem of methane extraction, the methodological aspects are a matter of interest to study the processes of sorption-desorption in natural gassaturated coals. Study of the sorption characteristics of coal has shown that its sorption capacity depends on the stage of metamorphism within the whole studied range of saturation pressures.
Complex investigations have been conducted of rheological properties of undisturbed and disturbed rocks under laboratory conditions in the modes of creeping, relaxation and lateral pressure. It was stated that the rheological properties of disturbed rocks substantially differ from those properties of undisturbed rocks. Recommendations are given for the use of the obtained results in solution of tasks in mining geomechanics.
The technological principles and results of realization of exothermal reactions in oil-and-gas productive wells are presented. Unique comfinations of chemical reagents on base of chlorates, saltpetres, etc ensured the simplicity, low prices and efficiency of technological operations for intensive influxes of oil and gas. High efficiency is reached not only due to reduction of oil viscosity and removal of paraffin and asphaltenes, but also due to re-forming of the reservoir rocks by relief of rock pressure and extension of fractures.
The article considers the developed unit for investigations of interaction between coal and gas, and gas outflow from the coal surface by gravimetric method under gas pressure up to 6 MPa. Relationship between the sorption ability and metamorphism stage is explained by the microstructure of coal. The adsorption increment indices of volume V and velocity of changes in pressure P – during adsorption may be used for prediction of outburst-hazard of coal and gas.
The article presents the results of investigations of the influence of stress state form, cyclic loading and time of bearing specimens under loads on the pattern of changes in porosity and permeability. It was stated that compressibility of rocks is proportional to porosity, and with rise of applied stress the compressibility decreases exponentially.
The conducted investigations allowed to establish the regularities of changes in mechanical properties of rocks with due account of influence of the stress state type, forms and kinds of moisture in rocks. Condition of the final state may be regarded as the criterion of rock failure depending on the moisture content, value of pore pressure and stress state type under constant velocity of deformation.
